My youngest son graduated this past Friday. I don't brag about my kids very often because they hate it when I do. (or at least they claim to) But indulge me this one time....I was/am a very proud mom. Will was the salutatorian of his class and graduated with honors. When he gave his speech I thought my heart would just burst. The thing I love most about him though, is not so much his academic accomplishments, but that he is one of the kindest and most compassionate people I have ever known. Okay, that's all. Thanks for letting me brag.
You deserve to brag, remember people are not born smart, kind, and compassionate. My guess is, Mom had something to do with it. So go on and brag!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteAw how great! Congrats!
ReplyDeleteWow Congrats on a wonderful son, he had a fantastic influence!
ReplyDeleteYou can brag all you want! He's a great kid with great parents as role models!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Will!
(You don't by any chance have his speech on video? Because I would love to hear it......)
Congratulations - you should be proud! All the best,

Your husband looks like he's about to explode with joy! I'll bet you were grinning ear to ear when you took the photo. I don't have kids but I always enjoy hearing about the GOOD ones other people have. Ya gotta winner there!
ReplyDeleteThat's what being a Mom is all about. Sometimes your heart just overflows with love and pride for these young human beings that we brought into this world.
ReplyDeleteIt's Ok! Go ahead and embarrass the boy. He can take it. You have a right to be proud.
I have a Will, too! Good job kiddo! Mom, BRAG! I think it means more to them than they let on!
ReplyDeleteYou deserve to brag! What a great kiddo!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to you & your son~ What a great accomplishment! You should be proud and brag more, please :)
ReplyDeleteMy son also graduates this year, so I can share your proud stance. Despite things I hear "other people say" about high school kids "these days", I have to say that my experience with Quinn and his friends has been the opposite-they're all great kids.....funny, smart, socially aware, responsible, polite, kind, compassionate. It gives me hope for their future because those are the things that REALLY matter. Congratulations on a job well done, for all of you!
