Wow, that really was the mother of all sales! I see a few things I would have bought. My parents had chairs like the one the kitty is sitting on. I took one with me to my first apartment, and threw it out when I moved. I don't think any of us have gotten over it....
You know, I could've lived the rest of my life without reading this post . . . but you hadda go and refer me to it on MY blog! I hope you made lots of money because you were selling some incredible stuff--how you could get rid of that gorgeous wood folding chair is beyond me. And all those green planters! Well, if you could let all that stuff go, I guess I can do the same. Thanks for the encouragement!!
I agree with all the above comments! I would have pee'd my pants if I stumbled across your sale...the ATM wouldn't have known what hit it! If this is the "overflow" I can't imagine what treasures you kept! Good Lordy!
We closed our mid-century booth at an antique mall, and we're about to have a big backyard blowout too. It hadn't occurred to me to post about it on my blog, but maybe I should. Hope yours was a big success.
Wow...looks like alot of mid-cenury goodness! It's probably a good thing I don't know where you live. Lisa
ReplyDeleteYou're killing me! You won't ship!! ARG!!
ReplyDeleteSeriously, I'd drive there if you'll give me some prices!!
ReplyDeleteSorry Barbara, we had the sale for two weekends and donated what was left. Oops. Probably should have posted this before the sale.
ReplyDeleteWow, I think I would have fainted straight away once I was two steps into your sale! :)

ReplyDeleteWOW! Makes me with I still lived in California! I would have definitely given a few of your things a good home =)
ReplyDeleteAw, sweet stuff of the thrift stores.....
ReplyDeletealas, we hardly knew ye.
Wow! I would've been there! With bags to fill!
ReplyDeleteHow can you be so cruel?! ;o) If I hadn't just bagged two midcentury lamps for ten bucks I'd be sobbing!
ReplyDeleteYou are SO good! Being strong enough to donate what did not sell...I applaud you!
ReplyDeleteOH GOD!!! I would have wanted it all! =p
ReplyDeleteOh! I just saw the little brass kitty!!!
ReplyDeleteHe looks so sweet and regal there at the top of your page!
Thank you for showcasing him. From both
of us.
