Yep. Another lamp I could not resist. $3.oo. Treasure Chest Thrift.

Original oil from Good Stuff Thrift. $3.99

Cool plates. Set of 15 $3.99 Purrrfect Bargain Humane Society Thrift.

This little sugar bowl matches a platter I found at another store. Good Stuff Thrift $1.99

I love these plates. Canadian Pine by Easterling in Bavaria Germany. They were $2.99 for a set of four. I wish I had more so I could use them for my Christmas dinner. I may just mix and match with some other vintage plates.

More "fundue" paraphernalia. This Fondue book has some really fun recipes. Waste Management finds. $3.00 for pot, stand, napkin and book.

Okay, now for the big stuff. I found this Ethan Allen couch and loveseat at Salvation Army. It was half off Friday so I scored both pieces for $180.00. I needed a new couch badly and was thrilled to find these. They are in perfect condition and they feel really good on my aching back unlike our old saggy couch. I love Sally's.

These cool lamps were at a local salvage yard (without the shades). I think I need to find better shades. Any ideas? They were $5.oo apiece. Are they not beautiful?

We found this unusual table at Goodwill. It is really heavy. I don't have any idea which era it comes from. Have any of you seen anything like this? It was $15.00. I like the amoeba top.
These are some fabulous finds! And I love, love, love your living room! The curtains are lovely. Did you make them yourself?
ReplyDeleteThe lamps are so beautiful , what a find and for $5.oo a piece, you are so lucky !
ReplyDeleteFantastic! Hit the Jackpot didnt you! Id put fiberglass shades on the lamps but thats just me! : )
ReplyDeleteThanks Retro-luxe. No, can't take credit for the drapes. They came with the house. Thanks Blue Home and Mick. I would love fiberglass shades. I never see those in thrift stores and they are quite expensive online. I wonder if I could make my own. I'll have to research that. Good shades are so darned hard to find.
ReplyDeleteBased on the current state of my thrift store visits, I think I definitly need to relocate. You really scored! I love the lamps & I'm drooling over the plates...
ReplyDeleteWow girl - I cannot BELIEVE the great things you find! I am totally loving your new sofa and loveseat. Hey - I was at Salvation Army on Friday- why didn't you call me?! And yes- those lamps are indeed beautiful- REALLY beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWow, that's a lot of truly fantastic finds! I particularly like the fun table!
ReplyDeleteAnd now I want fondue! :)
The Goodwill and Salvation Army stores around here are awful--I did find my 70's stereo at GW but that was sheer dumb luck. Humane Society thrift stores are pretty good since everyone wants to help out the puppies and kitties--one just opened about an hour from me and they get good stuff. I can't bring myself to haggle at a charity thrift store, though--sometimes I even wind up giving them a few more dollars in donation! The lamps are gorgeous but they FOR SURE need new shades!
ReplyDeleteYou know, you have amazing luck at finding incredible stuff. Love the couches and the lamps--beautiful! And really, the view out your windows is sublime . . . it looks like a very nice place to relax. Cheers!
ReplyDeleteThat old fondue pot really rocks!! Looks like it jumped right out of the 70's!!
ReplyDeleteThe coffee table looks "important". I've never seen one like it! As for the lamps, I think those shades give them both "personality." If they came with the lamp, why not keep 'em with the lamps?
