Around The House

I love looking at fabulous homes
by famous designers and architects from
around the world, but....at the end of the day,
this is where I want to be.
I feel so fortunate to live in our little 1956 rental home
with all of our thrift store finds.
Someday we will build our dream home,
until then, this is where we'll stay.

  3. Such a warm and lovely home. Yours rivals the most "famous" designers. Truly.

You should be featured in Atomic Ranch magazine. I'd contact them. Really. Have seen lesser homes featured.

ps: if you have a Target store nearby, they carry the Barkeepers Friend cleaner. :)

  9. This is just lovely! I would move in a second, if it was all furnished of course!

You have a beautiful collection of mid-century furniture and objects. YUM!

  10. Thanls for showing your beautiful home.

You should be more than happy with your pad ... it's not neat and ordered and all your furniture and decorative pieces are absolutely wonderful!

I couldn't see a smidgen of dust (and I look, because finding dust in others' houses makes me feel better about the dust in mine). Sunset books ... hilarious!

I love it ... those photos could appear in an Interiors magazine.

  11. I just love your home. It is warm and personal, modern yet cozy. I so envy your living room windows & view, and one day I'm going to sneak in and steal that coffee table. (We've been looking for the right table for 5+ years).

  13. All the warm wood tones, and accents are really inviting. You have balanced the designer look with the comfort of a home that can actually be lived in! Great Job!
