THRIFTY FINDS FOR UNDER FIVE

Very mod cheese board.
Magnets hold the utensils in place so you can hang it on the wall.
$4.00

Nifty fiberglass double tray.$3.00

My personal favorite.
Vintage paint by number. $3.00!
I love paint by numbers.
I can't afford them on ebay.

Batik on silk. Both prints for $5.00.
We are currently watching
The #1 Ladies Detective Agency.
I loved the books. We are loving the series.
These prints remind me of this series.
Beautiful colors.
Frames need some spray paint.
Next weekend's project.

Fun flowered burlap placemats.
One can never have too many placemats.
Am I right?
99 cents.

  1. Wow! Great finds! There's a PBN of two kittens at my local Habitat for Humanity but they want $25 for it and that's outrageous. But it's so darn cute that I'm thinking about offering $15 and see if they go for it. It's been there forever, but now watch, the next time I go it'll be gone. Just like the gravel art piece that I'm still kicking myself over. I also love that two-tiered server, too. I have several in the crystal "Petal" glass pattern, as well as some china (just sold a 3-tier Franciscan "Apple" pattern server that I only paid $5 for!). I think I need to have a party and actually USE all this stuff!

  2. Yes, that's what I keep saying. Someday I'll have this huge dinner, fondue, appetizer...party. Just never seems to happen. Oh well, the hunt is fun and the find even funner. Using the stuff is just icing on the cake!

  7. Hey Jamie- I saw one of those cheeses boards like in your top picture on this post at Christian Heights. It was $5, and it's very similar - or possibly even the very same? I'm not sure- but I don't know if you would be interested in another one or not?
