FAB FABRICS

I happened upon this fab fabric and cool clock at the website of Joanna Ha Design. She sells the fabric by the yard. Would I love to have a couple of pillows, perhaps some drapery and this oh so cool clock in my livingroom.

Happy, happy housewives.
Let's hope their hubbies aren't living the Don Draper life.

Perhaps the men are all out playing golf.
While the women slave away in the kitchen?
That's right....And happy to do so!

The ladies are putting these lovely pots and pans and utensils to good use.

They're cooking up a storm.
They know their men are working up big appetites.

Then Betty asked her lady friends if they'd care for a cocktail.
Well why not? They've been working hard.
Don't they deserve a little nip?

Betty breaks out the martini shaker.

A few hours and a few martinis later.........
the ladies are seeing stars.
Shake up another round of martinis Betty!
Is something burning?
hiccup...

  1. ooh. pretty.!!
I have a bad habit of snatching up pretty fabric & hiding it away (since I don't sew), but some of it (like these) are just hard to pass up! I love the one of the ladies in the kitchen..

  3. I think the last two are my favorites. And my sister gave me an apron made out of the one with all of the ladies in the kitchen. They're all cool, though!

  4. Wow - how cute are these fabrics? I have a bag with that I use for knitting that looks a bit like the different women in the kitchen.

    Love the clock!

  6. Cool clock. Looks a bit dangerous with all those sharp edges.

Love the last fabric pattern. Reminds me of some vinyl placemats we had growing up (circa 1960's)

  8. Even though I can't sew I'm sure I could coerce my friend Anna. to whip up some cute stuff with that fabric. These are REALLY REALLY darling! I'm going to visit that website right now.
