So shoot me.
I found this set of twinkie lights a week or so ago for $1 at Salvation Army.
I hung them today just before my husband tried to set the deck on fire.
Now for today's finds.
I love the graphics on this dish towel. We tried to figure out what the name is but it's a little difficult to read.
Can anyone figure out what it says?
Another great little teapot that I will never use. I will enjoy looking at it though. Maybe I'll start drinking tea. I said that about the last great little teapot I bought.
Who doesn't love wooden fruit? It never rots. Calorie free, fat free. Love it.
Fly me to the moon...I'm over the moon for these geese wall sculptures.
The towel is by Fernando Llort

You got some great finds!
Thank you Michael!
ReplyDeleteI'm not surprised you couldn't resist.
ReplyDeleteThanks for enlightening us Missouri Michael. I tried to work out that name but failed. I did learn that 'njollat' means spots in Albanian though. :)
We must be have been SEPARATED AT BIRTH--I made the same solemn vow and it took me all of one day to completely disregard it. I normally don't care for metal wall sculptures but those geese really look good up on your wall. I'll bet Michael is really good at solving those word puzzles that go up, down, sideways and backwards, too.
ReplyDeleteEverything looks great!!
ReplyDeleteThat wooden fruit is SO perfect in that oblong bowl. I had a wonderful day with you; I always do. Thank you.
I've been collecting wooden fruit since before it was cool to do it, I love all the shapes and have a lot of it. It used to be 25 cents a piece, now it's getting more expensive, and I've got a lot, so I'm pickier about what I buy.
ReplyDeleteI like the geese wall hanging, reminds me of the ones "Duck" has in his office on Mad Men. The wooden fruit bowl is cool too. Ya did good, I mean bad..bad at your resolution but good at finding cool stuff.
ReplyDeleteI have very few thirft stores in my area...lovely finds..and wooden fruits...wow..lved them
ReplyDeleteI saw your comment asking how I knew the artist of the towel. To be honest, I didn't. I just took the letters (or what I could make out of them) and Googled all the different variations I could come up with until Google came up with Fernando Llort. Just pure luck!
ReplyDeleteI tried that and came up with "no matches found". You are an honest guy Michael. I would have said, "Really, you've never heard of the famous Fernando Llort?"
