We dined al fresco ...calamari, crab cakes and Caesar salad.
Then we drove to our town for dessert....chocolate brownie ala mode.
And finished the day off with a hot tub and sunset.
Who could ask for more?

ITALY....sort of
We celebrated my 57th birthday today (ouch), a day early since I'm working tomorrow. My husband flew (drove) me to Italy (Murphys, Ca.). It was a beautiful day. The weather was perfect. Murphys is our next door neighbor, about a 30 minute drive from our home, but we always feel like we're on vacation when we visit there. Okay, so it's not Italy, but it is close and affordable and it has great wineries, delicious food and it could be Italy.
