DUX FAMILY Together At Last

Finally, all the members of this Dux family are together again in the same house. It took over a year to reunite them. To see the beginning of the saga click here. It came to us bit by bit until finally last week, the dining set found its way into our home. It was worth the wait.

The dining set came with four chairs.
There are actually two more and I think they will make their way here eventually.
The table folds up to seat four.
It expands to seat an army.
The middle folds back, and the table glides together.
Very slick mechanism.
Fully expanded.
Two end tables with two wooden lamps.
This magnificent coffee table, I just adore.

There are two captain's chairs.

The loungers are very comfortable.
The cushions show no sign of wear.
They may get recovered someday in a neutral color.
For now, orange they are.
A very cheerful orange at that.
The End.

  2. Oh Dear!! It is all sooo gorgeous. I really like those loungers too, I swear my Granfather had one almost identical to that and it was his favorite chair.

  3. Oh No! That's all I can say! They're all beautiful. Love the orange. I love it ... lucky you.

So glad someone owns them who appreciates them!

  4. One big happy family - I love it all; looks GREAT!
I love how your kitty is looking back at you in the one picture, rather nonplussed by all this photo taking business. "Yeah, yeah, yeah...furniture ..big deal", I'll bet he/she is thinking.
"Big deal - now how about some attention for ME?"

  5. It's so great that you've been able to find so many beautiful pieces--I think it's fun doing it that way. It's also nice that you are showing your own stuff since you so often feature things that you love but don't have. You can be VERY proud of your collection--it's incredible!

  6. I too adore that MAGNIFICENT coffee table! How wonderful. I have recently had to move into a smaller area and sadly I've had to pare down my collection of things things things. I am now seriously considering a total re-do but I need ideas from others about decorating small spaces. Of course I want to keep my fifties feel throughout!
