Thrift Store Scores

No, I didn't score the man....the man scored the board for $10.00 at Waste Management. I will be doing a post on "man scores" later in the week. I'm referring to items my husband scored recently. I'm afraid I've created a monster. He can't pass up a yard sale or thrift store. I'm not complaining... definitely not complaining.

This pretty wooden desk was at the local Salvation Army for $14.99.

I'm not sure why it was so cheap but I didn't ask questions.

I waited two weeks for the manager of the thrift store to call me about this fine red leather Ikea Poang chair. We spotted it in a 4th of July window display on a recent trip to Sutter Creek. It was not a steal of a deal. It was however about a third of what you'd pay retail and Poang chairs are really comfortable. I just needed a red chair.

The rest of the finds are in the $1 to $5 category.
