I have decided against the turquoise naugahyde on the daybed. I think it would be too difficult to work with for a novice upholsterer. I found these Italian fabrics at FabricGuru.com. What do you think? Too busy? Should I consider a solid fabric? That seems kind of boring but I'm only going to do this once so I don't want something I can't live with for the next twenty or so years. Let's hear some of your opinions on the subject.

Hmmm - it's hard to tell from the pictures, but I'm liking the third and sixth ones the best right off the bat, without thinking about it too much. I'm sure whatever you pick will be great. I am always too afraid to tackle something new. I love that you have the courage to jump right in there. I admire you.
ReplyDeleteI have a pillow out of the sixth fabric and I love it. I was looking for fabric with a little brighter colors but these match what I have. I love the third one too. I also love the first because it has some blue in it and it seems like I always go for the orange and reds.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Thanks for your input!
ReplyDeleteI like number 6. I think it is bright and inviting.
ReplyDeleteGreat fabric finds-I have such a hard time finding fabric.I love no.3 the best!
