but a five gallon bucket of white paint
just may wash away all the funk in the trunk.

Really clean.
We just can't seem to
keep moving on this one.
We even got a bid from a painter
to slather her in white.
Too much money!
Removing the upper cabinets is a start.
It opened it up a little.
Open shelving helps me breath easier.
Removing ugly glass panels helped too.
No more ugly carpet.
No more rotten hardwood.
No more flooring, period.
Next weekend we'll paint.
Really.

I'm loving all the white. It makes everything look so much larger and brighter. And the hardwood floors are a nice contrast. We lived in a travel trailer for a summer while we were having a house built...with a 5-year-old daughter. I think I would have felt less claustrophobic if everything had been white (and if she had been 33 like she is now...LOL).

ReplyDeleteWow are you going to do the all white scheme? I didn't realize that you were doing a full resto on it. Looks like a lot of work but you have a capable bunch of helpers and a lot of inspiration. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteSorry, I'm a bit late. But I do think white would 'open' up the van. I do like the hardwood flooring and that birch wallpaper.
