Time Capsule

My husband and I did some snooping this weekend.
I love being married to a realtor. Business may be down
but we can still tour homes. It's cheap entertainment.

This home was built in 1965.
It was like walking into a time capsule.

The second we entered the house I wanted to
back a UHaul truck up to the front door...
or buy the house and move in immediately.
We wouldn't need to bring a thing.

There was just too much MCM
goodness under one roof.

Teak fire tools.

I love the built in wall unit.

The bathroom still has the original wallpaper.

The setting is spectacular.

This just screams martini party.

The pool was covered for the season.
Wouldn't you just love to float around and
take in these magnificent views?

And rinse off under the outdoor shower.

I wonder what will happen to all the furnishings
when the house sells?
I'm going to keep my eyes and ears
open on this one.

  1. I'll gladly let The Queen of Fifty Cents have the fire tools if I get to keep everything else!!! ;) That is a fabulous home.

Wish I'd been home so I could have come with you!
