We watched the new Martin Scorsese documentary on George Harrison the other night on HBO and it brought back so many memories of all the Beatles. I remember the first time they appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show--we were having dinner in the family room and when Ed introduced them in his own inimitable way the audience started screaming and so did my sister and I, which got us into some trouble with my VERY startled father! Sometimes we four girls would "do" the Beatles (playing their records on our 45 player) and I was always John. He was a very cool dude and we lost him waaaaay too soon. >:(
