garden guards

Our old fire tools are now our garden guards.
Don't they look intimidating?

An old room divider  supports the peas.

I don't know if this is squash or pumpkin.
We'll find out sooner or later.

The mammoth sunflowers are really taking off.
Blackberries are growing behind them.

The first harvest, spicy radishes.

Cauliflower followed.

We're growing lots of herbs too.

What cute little tomatoes.

Heirloom tomatoes are starting to blossom.

A happy, musical frog entertains the plants.

The carrots are growing like weeds.

The old porch swing got another facelift.
Birdhouse gourds are planted around the gazebo and
will hopefully grow up the sides.

That's all for now.

  1. Your garden is amazing, and I'm a matching color of green with envy!!! :) We've planted lots of grass and flowers over the past few weeks, but the only edible we've managed to get in the dirt is a chocolate mint. You've inspired me!

Your garden looks beautiful and what yummy stuff it is growing.
The frog entertaining the growing vegetables made me smile. *HOW CUTE*
