24th Anniversary Coastal Trip....What a Trip!

Here we are, 24 years later, 30 years from the day we met...

Officially empty nesters as of tonight. Wow. Did we really do that?

We most certainly have had our ups and downs, our highs and lows.

There were times when we couldn't see the light at the end of the tunnel...
And times when it seemed life couldn't be any better...

We've been through it all...
Child rearing, hair raising at times...
Too joyful for words at times...

Menopause, yes, I made it through unscathed...
It wasn't easy...

Mid life crisis....he survived...we survived.

And now it's our turn...

Strap the boards on...

Time to  leave our worries behind...

Fly that kite mister...

Swing that nine iron...

Let's enjoy the finer things of life...

Oh please...fish tacos? I'm game.

Go and catch the perfect wave....

Or just watch the ships go by...

Oh how I love that smile!

It's our time now...

I've run out of words.

Who needs them?

Try not to try too hard, it's just a lovely ride.

I've always liked you. You're honest and funny and down-to-earth. I think you're life sounds very normal. Have a wonderful 'you' time.

When will you be invited to dinner at the son's new pad?

    1. Thank you MMMC, he is a handsome guy, isn't he?

I have always liked you too! You are me 15 years ago. It's like watching a rerun of my life.

The boy hasn't invited us for dinner yet but we dropped by for a visit tonight. His place is so very cool.

I didn't cry when he left. The mister did when he thought no one was looking. That made me cry.
